IKI20 competitions

What comes to your mind when you think of the number 20? Share with us a memorable experience related to the number 20 in the foreign language you are learning. Write 100-120 words with the title '20: My Story'. Don't spare your sense of humour.

Troubadours, bards, minstrels! Do you know the poems called haiku? Anyone can write a haiku: the first line is 5 syllables, the second 7, the third 5. Write a haiku with the given syllable counts in one of the languages taught at IKI.

How familiar are you with the culture of the languages you can learn at the Foreign Language Centre (IKI)?

If you're learning a foreign language, you've probably come across words that you found interesting, strange or funny. They may be memorable because of a story related to them. Tell us your favourite foreign word in a short Instagram video.

If you're learning Hungarian, you've probably come across words that you found interesting, strange or funny. They may be memorable because of a story related to them. Tell us your favourite Hungarian word in a short video.

What do you know about the Foreign Language Centre (IKI)? Can you recognise the flags and cities, or the languages of European countries? Test your knowledge and collect your points by completing our online quizzes.

If you like reading in a foreign language, immerse yourself in the ocean of literary works. Choose the language and level. Read the story, then answer the questions in the given language. Don't hold yourself back! Your answers should be deep and meaningful. Add your own ideas and feelings.

Stop for a moment. Slow down. Take a look around the corridor of the Foreign Language Centre (IKI) and see if you can find a meaningful message on the coloured pages.
